GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Membership was NOT deducted from last year’s prize money. Every exhibitor entering in the adult exhibits will be required to pay an exhibitor’s fee (unless otherwise stated in the class).
EXHIBITOR’S FEE - $6.00
The exhibitor’s ticket will entitle the holder to one day only entry into the fair. The ticket must be turned in at the gate. Anyone without a pass or exhibitor’s ticket must pay at the gate. If the director of the class feels it is warranted, a ticket will be given to the exhibitor for redemption at the treasurer’s office in the arena.
There will be a pay-back on rosette ribbons - large $1.50, small 50¢ - Available on the days of the Fair only. Please see the directors in charge of your division.
1. All entry forms must have a clear readable name and mailing address and phone number
2. ALL PRIZE MONEY NOT REDEEMED BEFORE THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY 2009 WILL BE FORFEITED TO THE SOCIETY.
3. Prize money will be issued after November 1st, 2008. PLEASE CASH CHEQUES PROMPTLY before December 31, 2008.
NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
Each exhibitor will be furnished with a number. All entries will be made by this number as well as by the number of the class and section.
1. YOUTH is classified between the ages of 12 & 17 and wil receive a youth number and pay no exhibitor's fee unless the class says different. This allows the youth to enter in any class of the youth section. Adults may not enter in any of these classes. If the youth wishes to enter in any adult class then the exhibitor's fee of $6.00 applies.
2. A youth entering both youth and adult classes, may be written on the same exhibitor form with an adult exhibitor number.
3. Entry tickets and extra exhibitor forms can be picked up at the Coldwater Library or Shell Gas Station or Dr. Godwin's Dental office or Coldwater Medical Centre (Dr. Ives/Dr. Stone) or Georgian Hair Stylist or TD Canada Trust in Coldwater before fair time. Exhibitor's name and number must appear on all entry tags.
4. Exhibitor numbers are given on Thursday September 25, 2008 from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Once you have your exhibitor number all entry forms MUST BE LEFT with the Secretary
5. Please bring safety pins, elastic bands or twist ties, suitable to attach entry tags to exhibits. Scotch tape is not suitable as it dries out

The time to place the Indoor Exhibits is from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 25th. They are to remain in place until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, unless otherwise stated. If any exhibit is removed too early, all prize money awarded the exhibitor will be canceled.
