JUDGES

Occasionally, we are asked who judges the entries and what qualifications the judges have?

Our local committee people do not judge at our Fair. We pay qualified and impartial judges from another

area to do the judging. Each of these people have attended Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies

(OAAS) Judging Schools (or in case of Plants and Flowers, Ontario Horticultural Society Judging

Schools). The conveners and committee people listed for each section are all volunteers who take care

of ensuring that the judge sees all the entries in a class, filling in the appropriate paper work, attaching

prize ribbons and displaying the entries for our Fair visitors. If these activities interest you, let one of our

members know you’d like to volunteer.
