All Domestic Science exhibits to be removed from the arena Sunday, at 4:00 p.m. Any removed prior to 4:00 pm will forfeit their prize winnings. 3. (A) HOME CANNING & PRESERVES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Jam & Jelly Classes must be in ½ pt - 250ml sealed preserving jars. 2. Other classes must be in 1 pt. - 500ml sealed preserving jars 3. Jams, Jellies, Pickles and Canned Produce to be properly SEALED with NEW LIDS and CLEAN or they will be disqualified. 4. Please - No paraffin wax. - No commercial mixes to be used. - No dyes or food colouring. 5. ENTRY TICKETS must be tied securely with string or elastic. 6. Complete Entry Tags with Class #, Section # & Article Name .. eg: Class 6, Section4, Article - Pickled Beets or Class 6, Section 46, Article - Marmalade

(B) HOME BAKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A. Breads, Loaves, Cookies, Squares & Muffins must be shown on stiff cardboard type plates in plastic bags with twist ties. B. Pies must be shown in ANY SIZE seasoned pie plate.. Note: To “season” an aluminum pie plate - rub a small amount of oil in pie plate and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes OR a used aluminum pie plate is considered to be“seasoned”. C. NO MIXES to be used. D. All Baking Cups & Foil Wrap must be removed. E. All Cakes must be removed from their baking pan. F. ENTRY TICKETS must be tied securely with string or elastic. **** NOTE: If you would like to pick up your pie after the judging on Friday morning - (before 11:30), please leave one piece for display purposes with the tag & ribbon. We ask that you supply a plate & bag. Thank You!
