CLASS 35 - CHILDREN’S PONY SHOW

(will begin and held in the Western Ring after the lunch break of the Western Horse Show)

Exhibitor’s Fee - $6.00 plus $1.00 per class.
Prize Money: 1st - $5.00, 2nd - $4.00, 3rd - $3.00, 4th - $2.00, 5th - $1.00
RULES
1. All entrants ride at own risk. Parent/Guardian must sign liability release BEFORE classes start.
2. Approved helmets are MANDATORY in all classes. Ponies can be ridden Western or English. Tack and apparel must be clean and neat.
3. Age of rider as of January 1, 2008. If necessary, birth certificate is required as proof of age. Seniors - age 10 -14; Juniors - age 6 - 9; special class for 5 & under.
4. For 5 and under classes, the rider must be able to hold the reins and maintain his/her balance. Handler may lead pony by use of a halter over bridle and lead rope. They are allowed to help rider where necessary. Riders must wear safety helmet with harness.
5. A halter must be used for classes 1, 2, 3 and a halter over the bridle for all 5 and under classes.
6. Ponies must be 14.2 hands or under.
7. Ribbons to 5th place. High point and Reserve ribbons for each division.
8. JUDGE’S DECISION IS FINAL! Unsportsmanship behaviour may result in disqualification.
9. ALL CONTESTANTS MUST HAVE THEIR PONIES UNDER COMPLETE CONTROL BEFORE LEAVING RING OR BE DISQUALIFIED. 10. THE DIRECTORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE CLASSES
